In conjunction with major upgrade works to University House, Redbox conceived and detailed a courtyard space which captured the established essence of academics and students mingling in an informal setting of plane and elm trees. The design activates the lower basement building level, establishes a sunny seclusion for guests, and was a pioneering project in the application of structural pavements, soil aeration and nutrient exchange.
